In my house, the vessels contain assorted fuzzy felines. They seem to love baskets, boxes, file drawers, wastebaskets--you name it, if it's 3" too small to hold them, they squeeze in. Your pup is darling in the box!
I love the sequence in the pictures. you can just see Scout falling asleep. What a darling! :)
There's also the empty vessels - the ones that make the most noise. You're a troll Carson. A talentless troll, appearing on every single knitting blog in a desperate attempt to be recognized. Accepted. But no one ever comes here and if they do, they don't stay. A couple of comments per post/40 subscribers? Your efforts are in vain. Give it up.
re the anonymous comment - WTF?? WTF???? Is it meant to be a joke? If not, good on you for not deleting it outright. And if a couple of comments and 40 subscribers don't entitle someone to blog, then I'd better give up too. I was so shocked when I read this that I didn't know what to say (still don't really). Yours is one of the blogs I most look forward to reading. So I hope you don't give it up.
And what I was going to say when I opened the comments box - Scout is such a sweetie - especially that third photo, looking all schmoopy.
ok, in shock about anonymous comment - hoping it's black humour from a REALLY good friend? I really wanted to ask after Scout's transition to her new home? She looks so lovely and Staffy in her box!
Hmmm I'm impressed you left the anonymous comment up to. There are some strange, sad people out there...
On a more positive note: love the dog-in-a-box. Reminds me of our cat-in-a-box...

My favourite vessels are the ones with dogs in them. Thanks for putting a smile on my face today-- :)
Your photos of Scout are so sweet, my heart fills to bursting looking at them.
Moving is so random, and your post captures this perfectly.
P.S. I'm adding my voice to the WTF?! over that anonymous comment. I love reading your blog, Carson!
Here's what I came in to say: Scout in a box! Scout in a box! Scout in a box! LOVE!
But then I am forced to add a belated WTF? Because seriously, WTF?
Love the picture of the pup - I'm such a dog person.
Sounds like someone joined evail-commenters anonomous but didn't quite understand what the program was for.....
Those photos are just FABULOUS, Carson! And to the anonymous commenter––the fact that you're anonymous, means, you're not effective. The truly talented would leave a name.
The dog-box pics are gorgeous and really, it makes me think that all I want is a lovely cardboard box.
It's somehow a totally perfect demonstration of the beauty of empty space, the possibility of the empty space as defined and outline by a vessel.
Anonymous is clearly an insane person in this instance. Possibly insanely jealous. Definitely insane.
