Road Swatch

Bonnet Swatch,
Reflection of Bonnet Swatch,
Dirty Window,
and the Sydney - Newcastle Freeway at 110K.

Proving that it is possible to wind a ball of yarn and swatch up a 10cm square between Sydney, Tuggerah Lakes (on a visit to the inlaws - let's just say I was glad to have my knitting with me) and back again.

And a very special knitted birthday cupcake (courtesy of Chilli con Yarne ).
for Michael and belated birthday for Tim all the way over there in their bird watching hut in the LA hills.
(Imagine the candle guys!)

Knitting in the car is the best! And the tea-colour is looking good - an excellent idea for the too-white white!

Oh, thank you Carson and the lovely goat for the very special and very 'hidden-away-in-bloggers-deep-etherworld' birthday greetings and knitted cupcake!
We had great b'days - friends from Aust staying, rich dinners at local fav's, and trips to venice (beach that is), all the while trying to keep our (mostly working) lives in order.
Miss youse guys.
Love checking in to your respective bloggs. Great and pithy writing - I see a published book down the track. You knitguys are a trifle strange tho - do you knit drugged, or drunk? Just wondering. It is intriging tho, the...addiction.
So - was it yr b'day just around NOW?? send us a note.
Love to scout, love her.
And love to you both - keep the cupcake hany for celebrations next we meet!
